Trailers badly damaged in early morning fire

KAMLOOPS — One person was rushed to Royal Inland Hospital after a fire this morning (Monday, July 15) at a trailer park on Grant Road in Westsyde.

Fire officials and RCMP are still at the scene. The call came in just after 3:30 this morning.

A trailer was fully involved when fire crews arrived on scene. An adjacent trailer also caught fire.

One person was taken to Royal Inland Hospital with undetermined injuries. No indication at this time what might have caused the blaze.

At this point (5:30 a.m.) we know that one trailer was destroyed and a second received damage, the extent of which isn’t known yet.
