KCKC Ready to Host Trials for Canada Summer Games Team.

KCKC will be hosting the Canada Summer Games Trials for Team BC this Saturday, May 27th at Shumway Lake. The best Sprint Canoe and Kayak Athletes from across BC will be vying for a spot on Team BC and several Kamloops athletes will be among them. The sport will have a single U21 age category at the Games so competition will be stiff for the 10 Men’s and 10 Women’s spots available. This past weekend KCKC volunteers finished installing the 1Km long racecourse on Shumway Lake located 20Km south of Kamloops along the Old Merritt Highway.
