Canada Games Trials Saturday May 27th at Shumway Lake

50 of the best Sprint Canoe and Kayak Athletes in BC will be in Kamloops tomorrow to compete for a chance to represent BC at the 50th Canada Games in Winnipeg. Races begin at 8:00 A.M. at Shumway Lake 20Km South of Kamloops on the Old Merritt Highway. Athletes with the most points combined from 1000m, 500m and 200m distances will earn a spot on Team BC. First up will be the men’s 1000m Kayak. The day’s schedule is attached for those interested in watching any of the races.
