KMBA player named player of the year by B.C. Baseball

KAMLOOPS — A player from Kamloops Minor Baseball has received one of the highest recognitions for his age group from B.C. Baseball.

Mitchell Coxon has been named the 13U player of the year.

Kamloops Minor Baseball president Chris Balison says it’s the first time a player from KMBA has been named a player of the year by B.C. Baseball.

At the Minor Baseball provincials Mitchell Coxon had eight home runs in six games for the Kamloops pee wee Riverdogs on the way to the championship final, which they won.
