Blaze U15 Girls Win Their Way to Provincials

The KYSA U15 Girls continued their undefeated season by winning the TOYSL play-offs and a spot in the B Cup provincials.

In their first game on Saturday, the Blaze played the Shuswap Selects and won 2-0 with goals from Ashley Irvine and Jordyn Lodermeier.

Kelowna United ā€˜Gā€™ were their opponents in the championship game on Sunday. The first half was scoreless but the Blaze pulled away in the second half to win 3-0 with two goals from Natalie Knight and one from Jordyn Lodermeier.

Kila Pigeon had a shut-out weekend as the Kamloops goal-keeper.

The Blaze play next in the Surrey SX Cup tournament June 24/25 before they head back to Surrey July 6-9 for provincials.
