The KYSA Blaze U15 Girls capped their season by winning gold at the B Cup Provincials in Surrey July 6th – 9th.

The team started their championship run with a 2-1 win over Shuswap with goals from Daisy Dalke and Nicole Thomas. In their next game against Vancouver United, Daisy Dalke scored her 2nd goal of the championships to put Kamloops up 1-0. However, Vancouver then scored a controversial goal after running over Kamloops goalkeeper Kila Pigeon to end the game in a 1-1 tie. In their third game against Coquitlam, Kamloops dominated the game but only Rebecca Ward was able to successfully bag a goal ending the game with Kamloops up 1-0. In the gold medal game, Kamloops easily beat Surrey United 2-0 with goals from Fiona Brisco and Natalie Knight. The formidable Kamloops defence was a key factor in the team's success.

Kila Pigeon was in goal for three of the four games, netting a shut-out and allowing only two goals against. She was unable to play in the third game due to an injury sustained in the prior game against Vancouver United. Ashley Irvine successfully covered goalkeeper duties in the 3rd game, earning herself a shut-out.

Before the provincial championship, the team, coached by Ryan and Danielle Strank, had an undefeated TOYSL season and won the TOYSL championship.
