The two Kamloops Blaze U13 Select Girls teams played one another to open their 2018 TOYSL season at Hillside Stadium on Saturday, April 7. The two evenly matched teams traded scoring opportunities throughout the match. Late in the second half Sadie Douglas found the back of the net to give Team Orange a 1-0 win over Team Blue. Rhiannon Nesbitt had the clean sheet for Team Orange and Kalie Saari backstopped for Team Blue.
