Kelowna United Edge Kamloops Blaze U16 Girls in Kelowna

Kelowna United “Red” scored two goals in the second half to defeat the Kamloops Blaze U16 Girls 2-1 in TOYSL action in Kelowna on Sunday. Kamloops answered with a perfectly placed goal on a free kick by Maiya Zimmerman late in the second half but the Blaze were not able to get the equalizer before the final whistle ended the match. Next up for the U16 Girls are the Penticton Pinnacles FC U17 on Sunday, April 29, at Hillside Stadium at TCC.
