Instructors Course for Flat-water Canoe and Kayak Offered June 11th

Canoe Kayak BC is offering a “Canoe Kids” instructors course at Shumway Lake 20 minutes south of Kamloops this Sunday. The Canoe Kids course is a Coaching for Community Sport National Coaching Certification Program recognized course that is required for those delivering summer programs at registered canoe clubs and is suitable for those wishing to deliver canoe/kayak programs in the community. This introductory paddling skills development program focuses on the development of flat-water canoe and kayak paddling skills in a safe, fun environment.
Registration fee – $170 + $30 Canoe Kayak Canada fee for Canoe Kayak BC members
$220 + $30 CKC fee for non-members. Those who have summer camp experience and have previously taken this course are invited to return for a complimentary ‘refresher’. Please register and indicate that you are auditing in the comments section.
