Last Practice at Shumway Lake for the 2017 Season

November 1st was the last “on water” practice for KCKC atheletes. Yesterday’s +3 Celsius will seem balmy compared to the arctic front expected to roll into the region tomorrow. The KCKC team have one last Provincial Team training session November 11th at False Creek in Vancouver and then will pack the boats away for the winter. This will however be far from the end of training for them. The winter “dryland training” program officially begins next week for both the Junior and High Performance teams. The winter training schedule will include swimming, running, weight training, cross country skiing and possibly indoor rock climbing.
