Day One: Argo Road Maintenance BC Cup #2, U16 + BC Championships and Nationals Qualifier

BC’s top Sprint Canoe and Kayak Athletes have arrived in Kamloops to race on the course at Shumway Lake. Day one of the Argo Road Maintenance BC Cup #2 & BC Championships starts today. The day’s events will be mostly races for U16 and older. These races are also the Pacific Division Qualifiers for a spot at the Canadian National Championships happening this August in Sherbrooke Quebec. This is the best opportunity to see the sport at Shumway Lake as Argo Road Maintenance has set up a safe viewing area along the highway overlooking the course. Spectators are welcome with parking available near the Shumway Lake Water Sports Facility, 10 minutes past Knutsford on the Old Merritt Highway.
