In 11u action, the Rake City Red Sox walked off the Expos 12-11. Leading the way for the Red Sox was 8 year-old underage player Jacob Petrie. Petrie closed out the game pitching 2 2/3 and striking all 8 out of 14 batters faced. At the dish, Petrie helped his own cause going 2/3 with a double.

Blue Dogs Win

The Blue Dogs downed the Rake City Red Sox 11-7 in weekend 11u play. The Dogs were led by the hot bat of Jayce Matkowski. Matkowski’s offence lead all players going 3/3 with 2 triples, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.
