Kamloops Blaze U16 Select Girls – Weekend Results

The Kamloops U16 Select Girls played two games this last weekend. They faced off against Shuswap Selects U17 on Saturday, May 26. Daisy Dalke scored in the first half, leading the team to a 1 -1 tie at halftime. Emily Hinds then scored in the second half, resulting in a 2 -1 win for Kamloops. Sadie Moyer was keeper.

Their second game was on Sunday, May 27 against Kelowna United U16 at the Tournament Capital Ranch in Kamloops. Emily Hinds scored the first goal of the game and Kelowna then scored before halftime. Jordyn Lodermeier scored on a penalty kick and then, once again, Kelowna came in to also score. Despite some great shots against Kelowna near the end of the game, the result was a 2 – 2 tie. Kila Pigeon was keeper.
